Today was an historic and long-awaited day for President Obama and his administration.
After over a year of heavy campaigning and a contentious election cycle, the president rightfully took his second oath of office late Monday morning.
This was actually the second swearing-in ceremony the president attended. Per the Constitution, Mr. Obama had to take the legal oath by 12:00 noon ET on January 20. That oath was held in a much smaller gathering at the White House on Sunday morning.
It wouldn’t be an inauguration with Prune Juice Media on the scene. I can now say that I have attended one of these and braved the BITTER cold. I’ll go into more details about my experience in a video. But, please know that going to the actual inauguration requires some serious physical endurance and patience. Whew!
Watch the president commit his love for America for another four years in front of an estimated 800,000 people.
