The Duggars Show Awful Campaigning Skills For Ken Cuccinelli (VIDEO)

Let’s go to the Commonwealth of Virginia for a second….
There is what used to be a hot race for governor in the state between Democrat Terry McAuliffe and the state’s Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, a Republican. However, as more allegations of fraud and misuse of funds come forth about Cuccinelli (or “The Cooch,” as some like to say), his campaign has lost a lot of steam. McAuliffe is in the lead and there is really no turning back.
Cuccinelli decided to bring in some big guns such as former presidential candidate Rick Santorum. A more unlikely pair appeared from reality television — Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the parents on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting.” The couple are openly staunch Republicans and supporters of Cuccinelli.
While conducting a local TV interview with FOX 5 of Washington, D.C., the Duggars got a chance to say why they thought Cuccinelli was the better pick in the race. Problem is that Mr. Duggar could not get McAuliffe’s name correct when referencing him as Cuccinelli’s opponent. The whole segment went from bad to worse. Mind you, this is a local TV interview where you don’t have a lot of room for do-overs. I would hope that FOX 5 cleaned up the Duggars segment before putting it on air. It’s such a metaphor for the entire Cuccinelli campaign and money scandal.
The footage of the ridiculous gaffes and ensuing spoof were put together by Heavy Crude Video. It’s pretty funny!
