Obama Wisecracks and Promotes Health Insurance On “Between Two Ferns”

This week, President Obama appeared on an online comedy show called “Between Two Ferns” for the website Funny or Die.
I had never heard of the show, in all honesty, despite the fact they aired 18 previous episodes over the past six years with some huge names in Hollywood.
The president was on the show to promote more young people signing up for Obamacare by the March 31 deadline. Very important topic, but kinda weird set-up for the President.
“Between Two Ferns” is an extremely sarcastic show almost to the point of shock with some of the questions. The show mocks a public access show with a cheap-looking set, bad microphones, and an unengaged host. It is funny in a dry humor kind of way. President Obama did pretty well in taking the heat, but also giving it back to the host, Zach Galifianakis.
This was not exactly the way I was expecting to see the president. But hey, at least he got in his plug about signing up for health insurance by the end of the month deadline. If Americans miss the date, they may face a penalty on their taxes. I know I’m not trying to pay extra money to the federal government.
