Politics and Prune Juice Episode #14 – I Still Have Election Depression
Matt | On 16, Jan 2017
In this episode, host Matt Stevens opens up about the widespread “election depression” Americans face with the impending inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump. We nervously recap a few items the incoming president will be in charge of once he occupies the White House. Having class and decorum are two things clearly not on that list.
We also cover President Obama’s last major address to the American people from his hometown of Chicago. The finality of Obama’s speech only underscores the overwhelming mess voters made on Election Day 2016. Tears were ALMOST shed while recording the podcast, but we pulled it together. Lol..
Finally, an all-points-bulletin is issued for Hillary Clinton during the show. No one has seen or heard much from her since the election, save for a few very random appearances. We discuss her role since the election and why she should be more visible.
