This is a classic clip. You gotta love not only the man’s determination to hit George Bush with a shoe, but GWB’s amazing reflexes to dodge both shoes back-to-back. I give him credit for someone who was over 60 years old at the time. Then, he tried to explain away the show-thrower as just a product of a “free society.” No, he’s the product of a Major League pitcher with that aim!
