It is his prerogative. It appears he believes more in his vision of equality than those few coins she was bringing in his door. It says a lot when a person is willing to forgo money for beliefs.

This will benefit her as well. A woman's hairstylist is almost as important as a primary care physician. I don't want anyone with ill feelings toward me touching me in such an intimate way. I also don't want to dish my business from the the comfort of the chair of someone who can't stand me. Tension during a hair appointment is no bueno.

I do hope that whoever gets her next shows her a few hairstyle books. That 'do is in need an extreme makeover.

Ditching the "change" slogan is a good marketing move by the Obama campaign. Although it wasn't all his fault, reusing that slogan would leave the gate wide open for criticism. It would provide an opportunity to highlight his errors in judgment. It would also be used to blame the Congressional mistakes on him.

While I think using "Let's Stay Together" is a tad too humorous, the campaign should consider something that highlights why the incumbent is a good choice. What that something is? Quite the mystery.

This has nothing to with race or drugs. The flying of the American flag at half staff is an honor which should be reserved for those who have made a contribution to this country and not because they were a pop star or a cultural icon. The argument about Elvis is moot because the flags weren't flown at half staff for him upon his death. Bob Hope had the flags flow at half staff because of his USO service. He dedicated his life to boosting the morale of those fighting for our country. Yes, honor Whitney but save this sacred American tradition for those who have sacrificed their lives or, like Martin Luther King, those who made significant and positive changes to this country.

It doesn’t matter what they say, its already going to happen! She was a hero and represented NJ as that. This is about honoring her contributions to the music business and the world. She was a groundbreaker, recordbreaker and a inspiration. I applaud Gov. Christie and I continue to pray for her daughter, her Mom and her Family! Let me guess the color of these people….Elvis was addicted to prescription drugs…he used to be AGAINST them, but I believe something went wrong during his time in the army.
